Thinkwrap Welcomes Joanne Desforges as Chief Operating Officer

Joanne DesforgesThinkwrap Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Joanne Desforges to the executive team as Chief Operating Officer.

Desforges joins Thinkwrap after spending over 10 years with Innovapost, part of the Canada Post Group of companies, where she served as the Senior Vice President of Application Development, and prior to that as Vice President of Corporate Operations.

As one of the highest profile software development executives in the city of Ottawa, Desforges brings with her an extensive background managing large, complex software organizations and will serve to strengthen Thinkwrap’s position as a leader in the eCommerce space.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Joanne join our team,” says Thinkwrap CEO, Steve Byrne. “This marks a significant step forward for our business. I am extremely confident that our employees, customers and partners will all benefit from Joanne’s experience and leadership.”

The addition comes just months after Thinkwrap announced an international expansion with the opening of their second office in Valencia, Spain, and supports the company’s aggressive growth plans as they continue to enter new markets.

Desforges will provide executive leadership, guidance and stewardship to the company’s Oracle Commerce, SAP Hybris, Support Operations and Business Services teams. Advising leadership to better anticipate growth and more efficiently build the capacity and agility to respond to fluctuating demand cycles will represent a key part of the new role. It is expected that Thinkwrap employees, customers, and partners will all benefit from Joanne’s arrival.

“I am very excited to be part of this organization,” says Desforges. “I am totally committed to Thinkwrap’s success and look forward to working with all at Thinkwrap as well as our current and future customers.”
