Announcing the Thinkwrap Commerce Scholarship in Computer Science

Carleton University and Thinkwrap partnership

In keeping with our commitment to the community, we're pleased to announce the Thinkwrap Commerce Scholarship in Computer Science Endowment Fund in partnership with Carleton University in Ottawa. The scholarship is designed to assist students and promote innovation within Canada.

"We're pleased to join forces with Thinkwrap Commerce, one of Canada’s leading eCommerce companies, on this great initiative and look forward to our continued partnership," says Dwight Deugo, Dean, Faculty of Science at Carleton University.

This scholarship will be awarded annually on the recommendation of the Director of the School of Computer Science to an outstanding full-time student proceeding from one year to another in the Bachelor of Computer Science program who exudes a strong commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.

Thinkwrap's VP of Technology, Joel Farquhar, an alumnus of the program had this to say: "Ottawa is jam-packed with talent and innovation, and so much of that has its roots at Carleton. We're committed to supporting our community, and we're pleased to help contribute to the enrichment of the student experience through ongoing initiatives such as this one."

Thinkwrap has long-recognized the enormous talent coming from Carleton U, employing many alumni in addition to summer and co-op students.
